Bedside Reading: Introducing Children to Wayne Thiebaud

One of my favorite artists is Wayne Thiebaud, an artist most recognized for his depiction of cakes, pies, gumball machines, and more. I was excited to find two books with his art and about his legacy written for toddlers and young adults.

This weekend I read Delicious: The Art and Life of Wayne Thiebaud by Susan Goldman Rubin (*affiliate link) and discovered he also painted cityscapes and landscapes.

Another book by Susan Goldman Rubin, Counting with Wayne Thiebaud (*affiliate link), introduces toddlers to counting and some of Theibaud's most famous paintings.

Are you introducing your kids to art?
Got any favorite books?
