The Scene Today: Pink Blossoms with a Side of Cute on Elgin Park

I love seeing Spring slowly unfurl her grandeur as buds appear on branches. Then blooms. And then shoots of green. For the past couple of weeks, each time I walked by Elgin Park I have wanted to photograph the blooms I saw appearing.

Early Morning

Yesterday I got not one but two opportunities. First in the morning on my way to BART. Then on my way home from BART in the evening.

Spring is my favorite time of year. I think it's probably related to the lack of seasons in the San Francisco Bay Area. But I think it's because it also represents a time of rebirth, of endless possibility.

Early Evening

Which season is your favorite? Do you love Spring as much as I do?
